While executing deals and gaining experience, Julia and Aaron have learned the ins and outs of commercial real estate, and they know exactly what you need to understand it, too. Between the two of them—they have done it all—multi-family, commercial agency, developing, investing and real estate law, these two attorneys have a few lifetimes worth of real estate experience under their belt.
From this, the Residential To Commercial Academy was born. Through their teachings, Aaron and Julia provide the necessary strategies to residential real estate agents looking to achieve real results in the world of commercial real estate.
Meet Aaron
Aaron is a seasoned commercial real estate attorney, consultant, developer, investor and project manager who is licensed to practice in Florida and Texas. Aaron has worked with and represented commercial developers on the local and national level. In addition, Aaron has individually managed more than 60 highly visible commercial real estate projects throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Illinois with a Fortune 500 commercial real estate firm. On behalf of the firm, Aaron has handled hundreds of commercial real estate projects through negotiation, design and construction while partnering with a Fortune 25 company.
Aaron has deep experience in negotiations, obtaining entitlements and economic incentive packages. His legal practice and experience spans hotel, mixed-use, multifamily, gas station/convenience store, retail and destination restaurants, medical, office/admin and financial institutions. Additionally, he has expertise in residential and commercial lease/sales contract drafting and review.
A teacher at heart, Aaron is delighted to have the opportunity to share all that he’s learned about how to be successful in commercial real estate through Residential to Commercial Academy.
Meet Julia
A successful real estate investor and attorney, Julia is the founder and managing partner at JP Barth Law Firm, a firm established in 2007 and dedicated to serving the real estate community’s needs. Julia has more than 20 years of experience as a real estate professional. Having been a a multi-family residential manager, licensed Texas commercial real estate agent, a licensed commercial escrow officer, commercial real-estate developer and owner, an instructor for the Texas Real Estate Commission teaching continuing education courses and a real estate attorney, Julia’s passion for real estate is evident.
As demand for her law firm’s services grew, Julia opened the doors to Juniper Title in 2016, an independent real estate title company that specializes in title services, including insurance, escrow and closing services for residential and commercial clients.
Julia specializes in all things commercial real estate and not only has the education, but also has the experience to back it up – being involved in well over a billion dollars in real estate transactions. This combination makes her one of the best in the business!
Giving Back
Julia and Aaron take giving back seriously. After their beloved brother Ryan Siddique passed away in 2014, they spent considerable time determining how best they could honor his life in meaningful ways. From that season was born the Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund which works to provide financial college scholarships to students diagnosed with epilepsy.
Ryan was a talented athlete and professional golfer who struggled with a neurological disorder from age 4 until he passed away due to a brain tumor in 2014 at only 28 years old. The Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund was established to create awareness about epilepsy and continue a legacy of courage, compassion, and intellectual achievement in his honor.
The proceeds of the annual golf tournament are given to full-time university students suffering with epilepsy, awarding over $130,000.00 in college scholarships in just four years. Stay tuned for information about the first Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund Gala planned for fall 2019.
